Captain America once again proves why he is one of the strongest heroes in the game.
Edit: I made a mistake of thinking that I could play Team-Building Exercise in alter ego. Therefore there's a change
- Sky-Destroyer replaces Team-Building Exercise
Living Legend makes him able to play allies from the get go. And when he gets upgrades/support cards out it gets even better.
The win condition: Cap uses the help of SHIELD cards to keep threat low while he slowly beats down the villain. This deck has insane resource generation and has no problem getting rid of villain attachments.
Mulligan You generally want your upgrades/support cards out early. but getting Monica Chang is the dream. Remember that you can play her for 2 cost which is insane value.
Cap's biggest weakness is his lack of reliable card draw. In this deck I compensate that in different ways.
- Since Agent Coulson can search for the exact prep card that we need, we can include Espionage to the list. Coulsen is a spy.
- Clear the Area is always a great card
- Avengers Mansion is easily affordable to put in play since he has tons of resource generating cards.
Key cards:
- Monica Chang is the real reason why anyone wants to play a SHIELD deck.
- Homeland Intervention Makes you able to exhaust anything from allies to support cards and keep them healthy while removing tons of threat.
It doesn't make use of 'Fearless Determination? Nope because cap will mostly be defending each turn since justice has the worst defensive options of all aspects.
Where's you extra damage? Dum Dum Dugan , Nick Fury will add to damage in the late stage of the game. Remember that Cap already has 5 damage cards in his deck, so he doesn't need a whole lot for this deck to work. If you against a minion heavy villain feel free to replace Clear the Area with Stealth Strike instead.

Apr 28, 2022Love this deck! Also why not Government Liaison as the replacement for Team-Building Exercise? I would definitely still keep Sky-Destroyer and am wondering if Quincarrier is worth it over the liaison as a quarter of you deck will be Shield cards. |

Just one thing: watch out because Team-Building Exercise cannot be used in Alter-Ego, it's a "HERO ACTION" card.
