Since I have read a lot of people are struggling to make him work I simply wanted to share the deck I am using to beat every Expert scenario so far, including Ronan (suggested setup).

This deck is running the Silver-Basic pack to ease him into lots of powerplays as known by the community at this point. The bonus side is that Groot allows for a very efficient blocker early game even against the boss; Cosmo interacts well with his Alter-ego action; Spiderman is an extremely good option for Thwarting the turn you put him down since you also have Leader of the guardians; Rocket basically does both basics well. Angela allows for a cheap block and tutors him a way to heal.

The heal I am talking about is ofc Moment of Triumph paired with Sliding Shots, that usually helps you go Alter-Ego almost only on Bad-Boy procs.

Combat Training paired with Leader of the Guardians makes him 3-3 that is insanely good since you have Daring Escape to ready.

Hall of Heroes + Bad Boy lets you recover instantly from turns where you maybe pushed hard and dealt yourself 3+ cards. That is 8 cards from hand + 2 from BB + 3 from HoH + 1 mansion + 1 Knowhere + 3 from Nick = 15 to 18 cards.

I did put two Target Aquired because since you deal yourself a lot of extra cards those may mitigate, but you can easily skip if you want to be greedier. I just think TA will be always more meta in the future, seeing how they approached GMW.

Martial Prowess is once card you can think of playing if you want to ''ease'' into Sliding Shots, but I find it too teccy to be used in a deck with only 3 Attacks. Boot Capm, I found useless as most of the time you will be thwarting with your allies, but it may be another tech card for specific encounters.

How to play: It's actually pretty straight forward. His Key cards are Boots and Helmet, so until you have them try to deal yourself only 1 card. This is essential to not let others ''pick up your slack''. Once you are set you can literally go ham on encounters, even against the worst opponents because you will always be able to recover. It's basically <<Think for your group when you are setting up, then go full yolo when you know you will be able to oneshot schemes or minions>>. His Element Gun is actually a big bait early as you don't really need to Sliding Shot nor ping stuff away. So plan your setup accordingly and basically put it down immediately only if the scenario really needs it.

Target Acquired doesn't stop encounter cards that are dealt to you; it stops boost cards that are played on the villain's ATK/SCH actions, right?

@sup3rk1ngYes, therefore if in any of the encounters you deal yourself you get additional boss activations, you can mitigate a lot of rng that is usually involved.
