What happens to Technovirus Resurgence if it is attached to Technovirus Purge and Tehcnovirus Purge is completed? Does Technovirus Resurgence go into the victory display with the Purge? Does it just go into the villain discard pile?

It should be discarded. If an element with a card attached leaves play, the attached card is discarded (Rules Reference 1.5, Page 8) — Stretch22 · 2620

This card is what makes non justice (and perhaps non leadership) Cables miserable.

The only reliable way to clear Technovirus Purge in one go is with a Mind Scan + basic thwart. You miss a ready or fail to find one of these 3 copies in your deck, and become punished with an accel and no PSIONIC trait for you.
