Great for bursting down the villain's last stage in true solo - it's not a forced interrupt so those counters can just slowly accumulate over the game when you have spare resources in hand (also works in alter-ego). With two fully charged upgrades on the field, you're swinging for 18+ damage which is often enough to get there.
