Your concern is not to thwart. You are a god! Do godly things! Like using Get Over Here! to pull any unwanted minions over to you and then annihilate them with Relentless Assault to splash onto the villain. Try to get your support cards out early, particularly Asgard and Hall of Heroes.
This build will only work well when there are minions around, so any villains that contribute towards that or bigger play groups that provide you with more targets are ideal!
