Spider-Man isn't much of a heavy hitter—thankfully he's got some powerful friends! Black Cat can stay on the board permanently if she attacks, so giving her some upgrades like Inspired or Power Gloves feels like a no brainer.
You know who else loves upgrades - Iron Man! As an ally he is utterly broken as you can attach all these upgrades to him for no cost.
