First official deck. Love it. Thematic and fun.
In Shield, everyone has a role to play.
Captain America: Mr Rogers keeps the villain and minions in check. Counter-Punch and Shield Toss for the minions. Tackle and Heroic Strike for the villain. Ideally, Captain America defends first, then uses events to strike back.
Agent 13: Sharon focuses on thwarting the main scheme. First Aids take top priority in the build. (The only card I never burn). She should stay alive the entire game. Fearless Determination is a solid alternative while getting Agent 13 up and going.
Black Widow: Natasha is alway spying on the villain’s plan. Use her Enhanced Awareness to prevent the villain from scheming out of turn or eliminating side schemes which assist the main scheme. Get Behind Me is a solid alternative while getting Black Widow up and going.
Both Neutral Shield agents are the perfect utility for any situation you are facing.
The deck focuses on Mental and Physical energy which there is plenty of both whenever you may need them.
I have had a lot of fun with this deck. The only two cards I have contemplated adding are Helicarrier and Down Time. If you do decide to give a go, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Cheers!
