Valkyrie Revisited-Aggression Excess Dmg

Mr L back from his deck lab. This build is coming hot from my deck lab from last night testing. I revisited hero because I had a crazy experience with Nova w/ Honed technique/Follow Through/No Quarter where I discarded a ton of his hero cards and I groaned when that happened. I thought about how his excess build would greatly benefit someone who is a benchwarmer in my collection that I hardly use and also who has a mediocre hero sig kit (my opinion.) First hero came into mind was Valkrie because I thought I wouldn't mind as much discarding hero signature cards/ cycling through quickly during mid to late game. Disclaimer* Requires some setup but once your fully online, you're going to smash face. ;p Also, solo this deck is kinda rough. I tested with going over to 42 with 2x chase them down or two more allies, it helped a tad bit. ;p

Key components of this build:

Honed Technique: Amplifies Divebomb/Intro the Fray/No Quarter with the mental kicker.

Follow Through-Excess dmg increase with Into the Fray and No Quarter. Also, if deathglow is attached to a minion then can increase O.K. Have at thee.

Martial Prowess: - Help pay for Aggro attack cards

QuinCarrier- Wild resource to pay for mental kicker for Honed Tech

Aragon: Goes Aerial for Dive Bomb. Mid to late to do massive dmg.

Aggro Ally Cards:

Angela: Cheap ally and Asgard traited for bifrost.

Throg: Cheap Asgard ally. TBE/Bifrost targets

Thor (odinson): TBE/Bifrost targets and AoE splash dmg if you pay for w/kicker if you get overwhelmed.

Aggro Event-

Divebomb, No Quarter, Intro the Fray gets super powered by Honed Technique. Make sure to pay that mental resource kicker with Quincarrier.

Moment of Triumph: Do crazy excess dmg and get healed. Nuff said.

Support Cards:

Hall of heroes: if your killing minions alot this is a staple card imo. Quincarrier: Helps pay for that kicker on Honed Tech.

TBE- Discount Asgard traited cards and Asgard traited cards in hero sig kit.

Bifrost- Summon the right ally at the right time when you know what's in your deck. Only 3 Aagard allies but helps thin your deck as well.

Upgrades:

Follow through- Excess dmg inc on Into the Fray, Have at thee (need deathglow attached ;p) , No Quarter.

Honed Technique: As stated before a staple card for the DB, ItF, NQ.

I got about 5 games in this deck but once your fully online it's pretty fun. I played with my Son in a two-player game and was cleaning up minions and removing globs of threat on the MS with honed tech/ItF/FT and having Flight of the Valkyrior in play. I think further testing is required but I might throw in another copy of No Quarter, Avenger/Asgard ally or possibly Chase them down. Not sure but I will be testing this deck a bit more.

Final thoughts: I really love the new Aggression cards and it really adds so much flavor into the aggression aspect. Also, because of the new red cards, I got to pull a hero out of my box that I hardly play anymore. LOL. Anyways, until next time champions, keep playing and keep deckbuilding!
