Shadowcat

Kitty Pride and Peter Parker once dated. I thought it would be fun to include him amongst these X-men, as things always go haywire when heroes try to do normal things.

How it works

So Kitty already has the ability to avoid taking damage by defending while in phased form. She can also bypass Guard, Patrol, and Crisis. This all makes her extremely versatile.

Make use of her allies thwart through Mutant Peacekeepers, combined with being phased and bypassing those pesky crisis icons, with overwatch, she can thwart a hefty sum off the Main Scheme, then the same amount off of a side scheme, and finally trigger Intangible Interference for 2 threat taken off the Crisis Scheme. If there was a Patrol Minion in your threat area, you can also trigger Acute Control to damage that minion also. Finally there is Ready To Rumble, allowing you to ready Shadow Cat when you change forms, so you can attack, change to Phased Form, and ready so you can thwart.

Conclusion

Her kit and her ability allows her to take car of the threat on any scheme without worry, as she scoots by dastardly minions, and bypasses the Crisis schemes, allowing the rest of the team to take the fight to the villain. her skill to use her phased form to defend and take no damage is great to stay up as long as possible, while also having the X-men cards for any other X-men hero to trigger when they’re in Alter Ego. she’s really fun to play, so embrace the form flipping fun of Shadowcat and help your friends defeat the villain!
