A personal-use deck built to consistently get powerful allies into play. Use Cyclops to defend as much as possible, and treat your allies as your main thwart/damage source. You should prioritize getting every ally in the field trained by using Danger Room if possible, as you can use your Alter Ego ability or Tactical Genius to get plenty of uses out of Game Time. This, alongside Get Ready, Utopia, and Uncanny X-men makes for cheap, powerful and durable allies that can be used multiple times a round. X-Mansion allows you to heal yourself quickly (as you'll be tanking for your team most of the time) or to heal your allies for even more bang for your buck. Finally, X-men instruction and Make The Call allow you to repopulate your deck with allies or use dead hand draws to bring them back into the field.

The allies you bring into the game can be swapped depending on the scenario at hand, but these work great as a baseline. Assume all your allies are trained and Uncanny X-men is in play (as it should be):

  • Phoenix: Part of your Cyclops deck, she's great for digging up your discard for key cards. When in doubt, getting Tactical Genius back means you'll clear 3 threat, get back a Game Time, and use Phoenix twice for 6 more threat removal, 6 more damage, or a 3/3 split

  • Dazzler: Confuse the villain to get a key turn as your alter ego. As your danger room training and X-mansion can only be used in AE, she's critical. Also, a Threat management beast.

  • Polaris: A Tough status will allow you to tank better for your team, especially helpful on a low-health pinch.

  • Gentle: At a trained 4 damage for 1 consequential, Gentle is a minion clearing master when paired with your Visor.

  • Wolverine: Pair his self-healing with the X-mansion and you've got a reliable 4 damage per round on the villain.

  • Angel: At a single resource cost, this best-value billionaire hits the battlefield for dirty cheap. Great for coming in, clearing a few things, and tanking a big hit for you.

This is my first deck-building attempt (and my first deck-building game for that matter), so any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.
