Crisis Protocol

Captain America’s motto is “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”

You will want to play this deck multiplayer.

The idea of this deck is to play Overwatch on the main scheme, let 6 threat accumulate on it, play a player side scheme, then knock out 6 threat from both schemes with Crisis Averted + Overwatch. You and your friends will all benefit from the player side scheme and draw cards with Skilled Investigator.

You want to flip a lot, too, so you’ve got a lot of ability to confuse with Dazzler, Professor X, and Upside the Head. Why flip? You get +3 resources from your hand size, the ally discount, and Steve’s Apartment, plus flipping up you can play Lay Down the Law, potentially removing 4 and 4 with Overwatch.

If you do want to try this deck solo, I would replace one copy of Skilled Investigator with Under Surveillance.

Make sure you consider the utility of Blindfold in this deck: instead of confusing the villain when you flip down, she can make sure they will get 6 threat on the main scheme but won’t draw Advance, setting you up safely for the Crisis Averted + Overwatch combo.
