Some people like to let the bad guy monologue. Sure, they tell themselves that they are "building up," but that's just a bunch of mumbo jumbo. Real heroes get straight to the point.
Solo:
Step one: Mulligan for Symbiote Suit. Bonus points if you can get one of Self Confidence, Self Control, or Self Preservation as well.
Step two: Win. It's that easy.
Getting out Symbiote Suit gives you 19 hit points. If you were able to get it out and still have a card leftover in your hand, you can use your alter-ego ability to grab a Maximum Effort as well. Then, you flip up, do 18 damage with Maximum Effort, pushing the villain to stage II in solo.
Then the villain activates and kills you. Congrats! You get a free flip to alter-ego, where you can Break the Fourth Wall again and grab This Card is Fire. On your next turn, you flip up and do another 18 damage and finish the game in solo.
Everything else in the deck is built around cycling through the deck for Symbiote Suit and This Card is Fire. Mulligan and Assess the Situation let you mill the deck faster. Mutant Education lets you get your damage-dealing events out of your discard pile and back into your deck
Multiplayer:
So you can't one-shot the villain anymore? That's ok. We'll do the same thing, but with a few extra steps.
Chimichanga Truck gets top priority for mulligan, with Symbiote Suit still important enough to hold onto. With a tummy full of chimichangas, you have the ability to heal to full, even with the Symbiote Suit, every turn.
Average turn:
1) Heal, Chimichangas, heal
2) Break the Fourth Wall and grab Maximum Effort or This Card is Fire if you already have the former
3) Do 18-36 damage
Second turn win against Rhino with Dreadpool. Just beyond ridiculous. Setting up Ronan now...
