Groot Rhino Protection Challenge

Game 1 - Monday 12/11/2023 - Groot Protection vs Rhino - 8 rounds Groot: 1/0, Protection: 1/0, Rhino: 1/0, Overall: 1/0 I won pretty easily. Avengers’ Mansion and Helicarrier still showing their worth. I could have played Nick Fury, but I passed for an Avengers’ Mansion instead. Probably a better card, and I definitely didn’t need Nick in hindsight. I was able to get a very large amount of growth counters and play I am Groot for 10 damage, which let me one-turn the second phase. Unflappable drew lots of cards. Hard to Ignore let me not thwart. I thwarted twice, once to get rid of an early Breakin’ and Takin’ and later to remove Groot’s Nemesis side scheme. Hard to Ignore was probably the MVP. I always played Defiant Defense over Never Back Down. Unsure if that was because it was single player or not. Just didn’t seem as good. Flow Like Water didn’t get played until the second shuffle, and by that time, it didn’t get to do a whole lot. I haven’t been impressed by it yet, but I’ve only played with it twice.
