Built for Multiplayer Expert II / Standard II with Gamora being the main thwarter.

Per Alex's ruling on Nov. 16 2023, you only add the crisis of infinite deadpools into the encounter deck if you choose the pool aspect (solo aspect, spider woman, adam warlock), but you do NOT add the encounter card for Gamora who can just add cards to the deck and doesn't actually choose the aspect. So Gamora here is taking 'Pool inspection to add to her thwart power, especially since she has keen instincts to help pay for it. If you don't have the Pool pack, swap it out for an extra copy of You'll Pay for That, another Ally, or a third copy of even the odds. If you have a teammate that is providing a lot of stun, you can run Cutupper to add to the stuns. This deck was build in mind of Expert II, Standard II (which gives the villain steady), so I didn't initially include Cutupper in the 40.

You'll Pay For That provides a more options to trigger the hero ability during the villain phase other than the 2x crosscounter. 3 copies of momentum shift are taken to synergize with You'll Pay For That, since you take the damage and then heal it back the following round. This make Gamora extra durable and still able to be the team's main thwart machine. Booster Boots and Endurance for extra durability.

3x Multi-tasking, 2x Even the odds, 1x Pool Inspection, and 3x Overwatch provide answers for multi-scheme scenarios and situations. Overwatch also pairs well with You'll Pay for That to provide a double banger for 5 threat if she takes a big hit.

We're light on Allies in this deck as we want to focus on events. We are including Groot and Rocket (great value for their costs), and Cosmo. Since the deck is very event heavy and hopefully most of the upgrades will get out in the first deck cycle, Cosmo gets great odds to not take consequential damage and continues to nickel and time the enemy and schemes just like Gamora's hero ability. Nebula is obviously here and serves as a free event grabber and a free blocker. We're not running the team-up in this deck, as we're not planning on leaving nebula on the board forever and want to maximize the thwart and damage this deck can do.

We're running just the standard 3 double resources. Keen instincts provides a lot of value for events, so we're looking for these double resources to help play the couple allies, updates, and eventually pool inspection or forward momentum.

If you have a teammate running the "Build Support" player side scheme, you can switch out one copy of Overwatch or Cosmo for a copy of Helicarrier (or go up to 41 cards), so you have a target for a free support other than Conditioning Room.

If playing multiplayer Expert II, you may consider bumping up to a 50 card deck to minimize encounter cards and run some additional team helping cards, like additional copies of skilled investigator, heroic intuition, target acquired, etc. Just be mindful that any extra cards dilute the deck from the events that make the Gamora engine run.
