I love Star-lord. The risk, potential upsides, it’s just so so fun.
So overall a pretty classic Starlord leadership deck, which I’m hoping to use in upcoming campaign boxes with the guys.
The tricks:
- Rapid Response + make the call = I can bring an ally in five times a deck. Usually, it’s Maria Hill (in multiplayer this is wild draw) (plus Knowhere and you are flying)
- Groot, Yondu + laser blaster, Domino = I try and keep them out on the table, for damage, protection and allowing Star-lord to essentially have his alter-ego ability on his hero side.The first aids are largely there to heal them.
This basically increases card draw to the max, so you can make the most of Peter’s wonderfully resource generation.Also allows a level of planning for big turns of 20+ threat/damage.
