SCL 17.4 against Mutagen Formula and Shadow King on Expert.

  • G1: Win; 8 turns; 1B; clean; 12 hero hp
  • G2: Win; 7 turns; 1B; clean; 10 hero hp
  • G3: Win; 9 turns; 1B; clean; 11 hero hp. This one took longer because I got 9 of 11 total minions on the board in the first 6 rounds.

The general goal was to build up resource generation, while doing damage after thwarting with Turn the Tide and Followed. I made sure to use Lightning Bolt every time I got it, even if I needed to save it for the next turn. This was the only way to work the villain down. Upside the Head was also key to get an occasional Confuse and flip down.

I did not enjoy using Justice with Storm. It was a slog every time and I always felt I was one bad draw away from a loss or the main scheme popping. That happened many times in my practice games. I lucked out with no Shadows of the Past and only one Advance in any of the official games.

Way to avoid the second main scheme. With a threshold of 7, it can pop very easily
