Cyclops has been an very good hero since he came out. However, with some of the new releases (particularly Iceman), I think Cyclops has grown even better.
For anyone that has ever played Magic the Gathering, "Enter the Battlefield" (ETB) decks, particularly those that have built in recursion, have typically been very strong as well as fun to play. This deck archetype revolves around the premise that you want to trigger as many ETB effects as possible, and any other value you get from those cards is just an added bonus.
Well now, I think that there is enough ETB X-Men allies in the game to make this archetype become an absolute powerhouse in Marvel Champions. There are currently 9 X-Men allies that have true ETB triggers and they are all incredibly useful. (Note: I am not including allies that specifically say "When played from hand." because they can't trigger their ETB effect from "To Me, My X-Men" or from Rapid Response.
This number is important because you want to have a good ratio in your deck to consistently hit #"To Me, My X-Men!" Combine that with recursion from Rapid Response, and you get a deck that is an absolute blast to play. (Note that Rapid Response is also a Tactic, which Scott can go get with his Constant Training ability.
After playing a handful of games with this deck, I will say that it is very thematic, very strong, as well as provides lots of combo options and engagement for a wide variety of players. I hope you enjoy it.
I forgot to actually put Pixie in the list. She should be in there, so you can either have a 41 count deck or take Stepford Cuckoos out.
