Fire burning, Fire Burning on my Cell Phone
**THIS IS A MULTIPLAYER DECK **
Still here? ok...this is mostly an AE deck
Alright just a few of you remaining, that'll do. This is all about looping Shopping Spree as much as possible and that will help set up our partners in uhh Shopping, but then we will move to getting down copies of Cell Phone and rack up a lot of uses minutes.
Looping Shopping Spree is easy enough as we will use Mutant Education and hopefully a Plasmoid Energy to shuffle back into the deck and the use Jubilation Lee's Action to put it into play. As others get the items they want you can use Disguise to grab Cell Phone with just one exhuast and it can be used to help thwart other things until people get all the items they need. Chance Encounter is here to help get allies quickly into play off clearing Shopping Spree!
Cell Phone gets very good as you are able to start solving problems out of turn via allies and even Heroes and boosting stats in the process. This helps smooth out several things in multiplayer:
- Makes the timing on clearing Call for Backup less important as players will be able to use their ally even if their turn has passed.
- Helps with planning around and contributing to Mutant Mayhem which the biggest drawback at times is a player not being able to use the ally before or after it is played.
- Perhaps another player has an upgrade they can attach to an ally but their turn is after your turn.
Calling a Storm
I ran this alongside Storm, which you can find here: https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/41931/mutant-spree-1.0
The benefits these two decks have with each other is that Shopping Spree has two awesome targets for Storm: Storm's Crown and Storm's Cape. Cell Phone helps maneuver easily around Mutant Mayhem and combined with Thunderstorm can help dole out a lot of damage. The other thing you'll notice is that Jubilee has a lot of X-Men while Storm is bringing X-Force allies and there's Utopia and that's because with Mutant Mayhem we can use the X-Men replayed from Jubilee to trigger Utopia and ready Storm.
They just work together extremely well and I hope next time you find yourself surrounded by X-Men you consider giving it a go!
If the villain starts to win? I go on my phone!
