Bishops Band-X

Bishop has some really cool cards and really cool powers that can be used in combination for BIG hands. Having allies to help control the board while you act as tank for building is crucial so you don't use Bishop's Energy Absorption until you at least have his upgrades out, otherwise you could be tossing important pieces to your setup. Once you have his upgrades and some supports(Uncanny X-Men is a must have) ready, Bishops deck will be low enough to start using Energy Conversion mostly to benefit. This can set up huge hands that heal(Bishop's Uniform) and deal massive damage. If you like healing for max health and then using Bishops Rifle and Super-Charged, toss a Concussive Blast to ready and drop the second Super-Charged; that's 26 damage, plus the damage you would have counted for the rifle before this. You should also have a constant supply to your allies with Regroup, X-Men Instruction, X-Mansion and Cerebro. A few ally upgrades as well to thin the deck and utilize resource dumping, I usually try to put these on Beast and Legion for the versatility but also works fantastically with Bishop's two included allies Malcom and Randall.

I know what your thinking, all these resources will lead to dead hands... not with Bishop and his buddies! You can dump resources to get extra life and turns for his allies, or hold and count resources for healing and rifle damage next round.

It should be said, with Bishop, ORDER and PLANNING is everything. Don't spend those resources until after you have healed and used your rifle. If you are about to take damage from the villain and minions but you can stand through it all, take the hits and use the Energy Absorption ability on each attack but don't use Bishop's Uniform until the last attack for maximum healing. If you're playing with a stacked/thin deck, you're about to be full health and going full throttle. Nothing is forced with Bishop so relax and plan to destroy.
