I love Rogue. I think she’s so versatile, and with the right set up she’s very strong.

I built this deck for a multiplayer campaign. The mix of allies, tough, super power adaptation and make the call meant I felt like I could fill what the team needed every turn. I’ve played it solo too and it felt pretty strong (though in solo you rely more on allies than Rogue’s identity cards).

The key ideas here:

  • Rogue’s economy is a little high. So I have four different resource generators, increasing likelihood I get one early doors… but also allowing me to put them all down if I can, so no dead cards. I rarely get all four down and you don’t need to but if you do it’s very fun.
  • TMMXM - cheap access to allies (often the expensive ones in the deck), but also increases hand size for next turn helping Rogue’s economy.
  • Bulletproof belle is obviously great, and there’s a lot of allies in the deck. However sometimes I felt like I wanted a more reliable Tough (partly due to help me play Colossus’s events). Access to healing to keep me in Hero is always welcome too. Thank goodness for Noble Sacrifice which I used in combo with TMMXM or with pretty dead allies.
  • Leadership side schemes are obviously strong.
  • Why no Utopia? I did at the start, but found that in solo to make Rogue really flow I needed to prioritise resource generation, and spending time setting up more X-men supports really hindered her.

It’s super fun and very versatile. Enjoy!

P.s. you could remove Noble Sacrifice entirely to make the deck more efficient. Or replace it with You Got This.

I know Phoenix ally would also be a good option in the deck, but my mate was playing with a Phoenix hero!
