Dec 16, 2024 Harleqyin · 3 @Lennalf Agent Coulson was in an earlier iteration of the deck, but I found he was commonly a brick, as it was rarely worth the 4ER for the Rapid Response tutor. There are definitely situations where you just can't get the recursion for the turn, and its horrible to draw a dead hand like that, but I tend to find Coulson so rarely hit the board. Even when you defeat Call for Backup, I find Captain Marvel (another general brick of a card) is a much better choice over Coulson, as those 2-3 draws and "free" THW/ATK pulls a lot more value. I definitely have little love for Lay the Trap, but having another side scheme for your Overwatch, Chance Encounter and mostly importantly, more procs for Mission Leader and Skilled Investigator is fundamentally what the deck is all about. Jessica Drew's Apartment significantly helps reduce those "dead turns", its definitely one of the most important cards in the deck to keep cards flowing.
