Who's a good girl? Cosmo's a good girl!
The idea of this deck is to utilize Falcon's static ability to see the top card of the encounter deck to allow Cosmo to attack or thwart with no threat of consequential damage. After attaching Honorary Avenger to Cosmo, you can then put a Sky Cycle on her to let her ready each turn for another activation (and give her aerial).
The other main upgrades to boost Cosmo are Inspired, Comms Implant, and Laser Blaster. Aero and Cloud 9 can also boost her (and Falcon's) stats. Flight Squadron, Get Ready, C.I.T.T, and Flying Formation can all provide additional readies for Cosmo.
The benefit of using Cosmo in this deck is not only getting additional activations from an ally, it is also to be able to mill cards off the top of the encounter deck to maximize cards like Bird of Prey and Bird's-Eye View.
Potential Adjustments
The 2 main cards in this deck that could probably be removed if necessary would be Major Victory and Captain America. Major Victory is only useful for targeting with a Suit Up to get the Guardian-traited Ally upgrades. The reason I included Captain America in the deck was to provide an additional +1 in defense with Captain America's Shield since Cosmo should hopefully be able to handle threat and damage on her own.
Additional cards that could be removed in my opinion are Power Gloves (they're good, but not the most impactful), Aero and Cloud 9 (the same cost as Boot Camp for a similar effect). Also, if Aero and Could 9 are removed, Flying Formation might only have 2 targets usually.
Some cards to potentially add include:
- Any ally you want (aerial preferred)
- Additional Honorary Avengers and Sky Cycles for Cloud 9 and Aero (if you like big numbers)
- Air Supremacy
- Cosmic Alliance could ready Falcon and Cosmo
Multiplayer
If playing Multiplayer with an X-Men character, Danger Room Training and Game Time could be cards used on Cosmo if Honorary X-Men is given to her.
Additionally, the aggression aspect has Energy Spear and Enraged could provide significant attack increases to Cosmo.
Milling the encounter deck will lead to additional acceleration tokens which Deadpool might appreciate.
Conclusion
If you like Voltron decks and space dogs driving flying motorcycles, this deck might be for you. It can take a turn or 2 to start getting online, but it is incredibly versatile and consistent once it does. Hopefully you enjoy this deck if you try it out!
