My goal with this game is to go through with each Hero. A large task, but I want to show each hero some love. I was struggling REALLY hard with going against Ultron on standard and could not get past stage 1. It was the Threat and Minions that kept getting me, as well as, the surprise treachery cards causing him to Scheme more. After I tried multiple borrowed decks across different aspects, I thought I'd make my own that would hit hard but give me more perks against multiple minions.

I'm a sucker for a 50 card deck. I know many people like just 40 cards, but I like options LOL. I went through and added basically 1 of each event I felt would help overcome the minion obstacle. The cards allow Overkill and drawing extra cards. I feel like you have to hit hard and fast to win against Ultron. The next focus was something to boost my Valkyrie's attack with Combat Training along with her Dragonfang. Honestly, I gave up on her Valkyrie's Spear because I hardly ever defend unless I'm using Protection since she gets 4+ hit points with Aragorn. I usually just take the beating.

Finally it was the allies. I don't use Annabelle Riggs often, she is mainly there for resource use. Brawn helps with keeping the Main Scheme down bit by bit from his response and it is nice he has 5 health. If you are lucky enough like me, Hercules will be free because you let the minions build up from the interrupts on the Main Schemes and on Ultron's attack. Hercules hits for 3 and has 4 health. Throg is good as he usually enters with Tough in this scenario and can block an attack from you if your health is low. Tigra was a must since she heals herself after defeating minions. Dust, Rictor, and Thor offer ways to hit all minions at once.

Some of the cards are pricy. If I don't feel like it is beneficial for that phase I will use them to pay for Death-Glow to take out minions and ready myself.

Hope you have fun!

Going wide with so many options is a fun idea! I like the versatility.

Congrats on publishing your first deck!
