Hercules appreciates help getting his upgrades into play. Enter the expert...
Cameo Shuri from Black Panther in the core set. Her text allows any upgrade to be tutored from the deck (not discard). This includes the zero cost Lion of Olympus as well as Rapid Response.
The additional allies in the roster are focused on card draw to assist Hercules 4 hand size. The hero's ability to flip to alter-ego after completing a labor works well with Med Lab, so keeping an ally available there grants additional benefit. This includes White Tiger with the card draw! Avengers Compound also holds an ally until the resources to play it are available. Squared Off can play the ally from Avengers Compound.
Get more mileage out of them using Teamwork and Unified Strike so they don't take consequential damage. Then they Get Ready for more.
