Hulk Could Never (Con of Heroes 2026)

At Con of Heroes 2026, I came in hot with a Hulk Aggression deck. And had a horrible time. Luckily, I'm local, and I broke his deck down Friday night and changed my Silk Protection (which wasn't seeing play because there was always another Protection deck at the table) to Silk Aggression. And proceeded to have an extremely fun time, of course, playing nine games in a row with her and I could have kept going. It never stopped being fun.

Sideboard:

• If you enjoy Symbiote Suit — even the chance of playing it — add it! Playing the Symbiote Suit can be such a fun narrative beat to experience, even if it's just some games.

• If there's another player who would particularly enjoy Aggressive Conditioning for either its attack bonus or its hit points, add a third copy for them. Even in solo, you want two copies to assure you get it and can play it (both to boost your attack, and because the extra hit points allow you to soak hits more safely and heal big with Albert Moon).

• If there's another player who will be playing allies who attack, add a second copy of Boot Camp for them.

• If (and only if) there is another player who is also all about readying to attack multiple times per turn, add a second copy of Combat Training for them.

• Be ready to also drop cards if necessary: Spider-Man ally if Spider-Man hero is played, for example; Ghost-Spider or SP//dr for the same reason; Hall of Heroes if there are few or no minions (or someone else will be laying claim to more of them). But if playing with another Web-Warrior, I would not drop Web of Life and Destiny or any ally who can still be played, since many of the allies leave play quickly and you will not see much overlap.

Another fun element was that I got the chance to use the Spider-HQ alt I made for Hall of Heroes, which kept the deck feeling so, so thematic. I was on a mission from Spider-Man 2099! And of course it was really fun when I ended up playing at the same table as someone running the Spider-Man 2099 ally.
