Rocket: All right, Stark, here’s the deal. I’m putting together a team. Elite. Dangerous. Probably illegal in twelve systems. You’re in.
Tony: Tempting pitch. Really. Nothing says career stability like “probably illegal.” What’s the compensation package?
Rocket: Compensation? You get the honor of working with me.
Tony: I’m going to need that translated into dollars, preferably US. Last time I tried to use Xandarian credits at Starbucks they called the manager.
Rocket: Fine. I got a half-charged Shi'ar mining laser battery, veeeery rare mint condition bionic uh... whatever this is, a whole gallon of Kree...
Tony: Let me stop you there.
Rocket: So you’re saying you’re too expensive, well la di da.
Tony: I’m saying your budget looks like it was assembled by a raccoon in a junkyard. Also, I'm not expensive, Strange is expensive.
Rocket: First of all, rude. Second of all, what is a "raccoon"? Third of all, I have feelings. So thanks for nothing.
Tony: Look I’ll pass on the full membership. But I’ll tell you what. I’ll do a cameo.
Rocket: A what?
Tony: I show up briefly, say something charming, make everyone feel underdressed, maybe help you open a door you were going to explode.
Rocket: I like exploding doors.
Tony: I know. That’s why I said “help.”
Rocket: And you’d do that for free?
Tony: For a friend? Sure.
This is a pretty straight-forward deck, and I've been having a huge amount of fun with it. It hinges on playing cameo Iron Man over and over and over. He flies in with a Particle Cannon or similar, blasts/thwarts, chumps a hit, then flies right back in with another gizmo or doodad to mug for the camera. It's a Swiss watch when you've got Black Panther hoarding your Make the Call or Squared Off for when you really want it, and Rapid Response for another Iron Man walk on the moment he leaves. The best part is that Iron Man can search your discard pile, so with the right timing you can toss a tech upgrade for card draw, play Iron Man, then get that card right back into your hand.
The deck also has Spectrum in the mix, who when played with Salvage is a whopping 5 thwart, 3 attack, 5hp space menace. Never worry about those schemes again!
