Jet Belt produces an energy resource for an event. Seems like the perfect item to power a Protection build.

Supplemented by Nerves of Steel, use Wonder Man's Jet Belt to play multiple defense events that benefit from being paid for using energy resources: Jump Flip to remove threat and Side Step to deal damage. This deck is very flexible depending upon which villain he is facing off against.
The current iteration is focused on dealing damage in the villain phase to trigger Change of Fortune.
Defensive Energy provides even more card draw in the villain phase.
