I really want to make Nightcrawler work in protection for true solo. I was super disappointed with him at first. He was slow and I just couldn't push enough damage through to get him to work. After 5 or 6 losses with him in a row in multiple scenarios...I ended up buying a bunch of singles on ebay. And... Now I freaking love this deck! It has really been a ton of fun to play! He can still be a real challenge especially when a bunch of minions start stacking up...but he is exactly what I was hoping he'd be! Tanks like an absolute boss while drawing cards and dishing out damage to the attackers.

@tunic right on, thanks for the comment! So far I've gone through the 3 from the core set (Rhino, Klaw and Ultron). I did lose once to Ultron (I got flooded with 2 hit point drones...the second time I played him the drones only landed with 1 hit point and my retaliate made short work of them). And now I'm moving onto the campaign for Next Evolution...the first scenario was a ton of fun and I can't wait to take on the Juggernaut!

@tunic I checked your profile and it shows that Nightcrawler is one of your favorite heroes...yet it doesn't appear that you have any published decks for him. Have you played him much? What's your favorite aspect to run him in and have you tried him in protection?

@happabore Its probably a better description to say Nightcrawler is my favorite Marvel character lol. I took a short break from the game a little bit after Nightcrawler was released, but finally got around to playing him. I'm actually developing a perfect protection deck for my X deck series that I have played a few times which I have enjoyed quite a bit. Its the only deck I have playing with Kurt so far though. Nightcrawler is high on my list of characters I need to play in some different aspects.
