Jubilee's hero ability can be used in the villain phase!

Warpath, now an X-Men ally with Children of the Atom, let's her play Firecracker or Grande Finale to set off Change of Fortune. Use Polaris to put another tough status card on Warpath to keep him in play longer. After he defends and takes no damage, possibly protected by Ops Room or Stronger Together, exhaust Hanger Bay to ready him for another go.

The ability to confuse an enemy with Flash of Light or stun them with Firecracker in the villain phase has immediate effect in multiplayer. Don't forget to exhaust the Coat or Sunglasses as it is a Response and not an Action.

Energy Barrier is an Item that can be put into play via Shopping Spree.

Professor X allows for a confuse to flip down to recover. One copy of Ready for a Fight is a failsafe to prevent a loss to the villain scheming out. When in alter-ego, Down Time boosts recovery and Dr. Sinclair works for the table to recover without exhausting as well as remove a status card. Give yourself a tough status card by exhausting Hidden Base.
