Colossus - Protecting people is a responsibility

This deck was built around one simple idea:

Colossus exists to protect everyone else.

Rather than preventing attacks, Piotr stands in front of them. Every card in this deck reinforces his identity as the immovable guardian who absorbs punishment so the rest of the team doesn't have to.

Design Philosophy

Protection isn't about hiding from danger.

It's about stepping directly into it.

This deck focuses on keeping Tough active as often as possible, allowing Colossus to intercept attacks, absorb dangerous treacheries, and remain standing while the rest of the team carries out their own game plans.

The Tough Engine

Everything revolves around maintaining Colossus' Tough status.

Cards like Ready for a Fight, Hard Knocks, Armor Up!, and Steel Fist work together to keep the engine running, ensuring Piotr is always ready to take the next hit.

Losing Tough isn't failure.

It's simply part of the cycle.

The goal is to replace it before the villain can truly break through.

Every Attack Has a Purpose

This deck doesn't include attack events simply to deal damage.

Cards like Powerful Punch exist to eliminate nuisance minions before they can strip away Colossus' Tough status, preserving the engine that makes the entire deck function.

Sometimes protecting Tough is far more valuable than dealing damage to the villain.

Playstyle

Mulligan for your Tough engine and economy. Stay Tough whenever possible. Take attacks that would threaten your teammates. Protect your Tough status from unnecessary minion attacks. Force the villain to waste turn after turn trying to bring Colossus down.

This deck was designed primarily for multiplayer and campaign play, where Colossus serves as the team's primary defender while allowing more aggressive heroes to focus entirely on their own game plans.
