Assess the Situation has a mental resource useful for a progress counter in alter-ego. It's also a solid event to play in Version 1 to have a larger hand size and find hero events (Fly Over, Photon Beam) to play for progress counters.
Use Ready for a Fight to safely flip to AE then pop up with a tough status from Hidden Base. Enhanced Physique is necessary to reliably provide required strength resources. Enhanced Awareness reliably powers Energy Shield.
Repurpose Protection tech upgrades like Energy Barrier and Energy Shield, especially in Version 3 when Ironheart's base stats are best. In the meantime, use Energy Shield on Brawn to keep him in play generating a mental resource.
