This deck was intended as a joke. I wanted to troll my friend by giving him an extremely bad Star lord deck for our playthrough of GMW.I made this deck at 5am or something like that and just threw a bunch of allies in a deck....turns out it worked. We defeated Ronan without a problem even though my second deck didn't do a thing. So, I thought, why not improve my strongest deck? That's what I did and here we are.

Which God did we kill?

Later I made a Maria hill deck (I'll link it in the first review) to support this deck, to take on even harder Villains. I

mmdon't think Heroic is very interesting, so I did not play that but I gave Ronan the hardest mod sets I could imagine:

- Power Stone

- Goblin Gear

- Infinity Gauntlet

- Standard II - Expert II

- Ship command, for obvious reasons

I also gave him permanent Stalwart

The Key Cards

• Our Allies, most importantly White Tiger, Beast and Nick Fury
• Blaze of Glory
• Unified Strike
• Element Gun

A bit more explanation

Unified Strike + Blaze of glory is stupidly strong. keeping your allies from taking damage can let the 2 HP ones survive blaze of glory and let them still defend. The two elements guns and Maria Hill's The Iliad can alone take down phase III to prevent sacrificing allies to the retaliate. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may seem weird here, but because you can play it under Maria's control, it's a top Mulligan priority to cancel the The very very very VERY annoying Goblin Glider and Fanaticism. Overkill is definitely our biggest enemy here. Don't be afraid to take hits to the face when you're at full health at the start of the game. when you're set up better you should have no problem surviving on a few hp.

Take all the encounter cards you can.

this deck has no problem dealing with 5+ encounter cards at once, so take as much of them as possible, especially when you have Star-Lord's Helmet.

There's not much to say anymore, just take this deck, go to the strongest, scariest guy you know and challenge him to a dance-off.*
