echo

Echo truly shines in multiplayer, and this is meant to be used in a strictly multiplayer setting that will revolve around Strength in Diversity, but remember: everyone is welcome at the table. Also remember that the printed resource cost of a card includes the math involved in the per-player equation (so it's 8 in a 4-player game, 6 in three-player, etc.). Also also remember that Echo's Alter-Ego ability lets you grab any aspect (or basic) event from your deck when you flip to hero form. Study the Tape similarly lets you grab any aspect or basic event (or Photographic Reflexes). Once you have played Strength in Diversity, tuck it with Echo's Watch and Learn ability to be played again with Photographic Reflexes or Muscle Memory. With everyone contributing the cost, you too can achieve an echoing cacophony of diverse strengths.

With Echo's Katana you can do a lot of little pings of damage and thwarting and one extra big chunk of damage, so make sure to grab her Katana first with Superpower Training. You can also fully heal yourself with The Rez.

The deck includes many allies which have relatively uncommon traits and not much overlap among them. There's only one ally with a singular trait, the glorious and all-powerful Maria Hill. Among the rest of your allies, there are quite a few unique or very uncommon traits, such as: Aerial, Agent of Atlas, Android, Asgard, Atlantis, Bird, Genius, Giant, Mercenary, Mystic, Posse, Psionic, Soldier, Spy, Thief, Vampire, and Wakanda. There are a few extra so that you can take some out if there's going to be overlap with other players' traits, and Make the Call is there to ensure you can grab the ally with the most unique traits, whether it be one of yours or a fellow teammates'. Feel free to add Cameo for some extra traits and synergy. Brawn and Ms. Marvel are probably the best options overall.

Once your team has amassed a solid set of traits, Strength in Diversity generates so much value, but don't forget about Band Together and Strength In Numbers.

This deck seems to eschew some of Echo's most important upgrades such as Improvisation, but remember to communicate with your team to grab some of their events to play again. Echo's hero ability Watch and Learn allows you to tuck an aspect of basic event played by any player. Study the Tape similarly lets you grab As you pick up any aspect or basic events, so checking for any Attack, Defense, and Thwart events that you can tuck and play again with Photographic Reflexes or Muscle Memory can absolutely generate a lot of Improvisation value. Don't limit yourself to those kinds of events though. Play another One Way or Another for another side scheme and card draw for yourself (remember that it's max 1 per round!) and draw yourself some cards. The main focus of this deck is in its Strength in Diversity, but don't forget the strength your team is already bringing to the table.

Even if this deck doesn't defeat a villain, you have definitely defeated Tony Franchi's desire in design to discourage decks loaded with allies. WIN!
