Echo surprised me. I was so pumped for Daredevil that Echo flew under my radar and was ultimately underestimated. But after a launch day event jamming game after game of multiplayer Marvel Champs, it’s safe to say, she is my preferred hero of the two (at least for now).
Matches played:
Ultron (why not!?), 4-player. Win!
Bullseye, Art Museum Heist, 4-player. Win.
Kingpin, 4-player. Win! But it was oh so close!
This deck acts like a utility belt, wanting to find and store niche cards to use at the perfect time, all while getting incremental value with cards like Move in Shadow, Echo’s Katana, and Improvisation.
Once set up with Muscle Memory, you can burn through multiple copies of See No Evil, Hear No Evil in a turn, chaining Photographic Reflexes and Study the Tape. It doesn’t take many to clear all threat on the board or deal massive damage to minions or the villain! Oh, and with improv, it heals you each time you play it.
Muscle Memory also allows some pretty fun stuff with Know Your Enemy, allowing you to return to your hand and play for free at any time it’s tucked. With improv and Move in Shadow, that’s three threat and one damage for no cost! Not bad!
Lay the Trap is there to help close out the game, of course.
Allies are pretty flexible. I just chose my favs that I typically use in my favorite decks.
Not tested in solo, but I think this deck would work with the proper tweaks.
Let me know what you think! Feedback is welcome! How have you enjoyed Echo, Daredevil, and some of the encounters in Fear No Evil?
Nice username and fun deck. Echo is surprisingly powerful and fun to play.
