Very straight forward deck, get +2 def and retaliate on turn one garanted.

You can get up to 7 DEF with a lot of ready, making The Best Offense insane.

You have a lot of free ressources with the Quinporter and the 2 Super Soldier Serum, allowing you to pay the strength ressources for What Doesnt Kill Me and Ready For A Fight.

Blocking when fully setup deals 4 damage, removes 3 threat on the main scheme, draws one card each turn, while never take any damage.

Use the Shield Block when possible, being defense traited you get all the benefit while still standing up.

Steve Rogers's text is useless, but thats fine we are not playing Steve, we are playing John Walker with this deck, he doesnt need ally, he's the best at everything. And he doesnt even take damage so he doesnt go to alter ego.

For this reason Ready for a fight will often sit on the table for a while, it can help you deal with alter ego stuff or if somehow you get low on health, this is also a way to get +1 hand size if you prepare for a big The Best Offense turn.
