This is an attempt to further develop the old "get as many avenger allies on the table"-decks. This deck is self-made, but obviously not my own original idea, however I do not know whom to credit, and there is no "Here's to all you guys"-button I can click.
Falcon is the only Hero in the game, that can pull this off. Being Aerial AND Avengers is absolutely bonkers!
----------- The actual write-up --------- This version is ment to be played in multiplayer with a justice player adding - Sentry and Firebird to their deck, only to get them to their discard pile, so you can play them with Make the Call
Make sure, however, that the last 2 allies you get on the table are avenger aerial allies, otherwise it won't work.
It can work in solo, but with some alterations: In solo you should add 2 aerial allies of your choice cough Vivian cough and 2 copies of Honorary Avenger to get to 8 allies.
Sneak Attack Is in here, to help get the card draws going early on and will become Avengers Assemble! fodder, once all allies are in play.
Piloting this deck isn't difficult at all, but requires a little planning.
- First you'd like to get your non-flying allies down with Sky Cycle attached, to get your team of aerial avengers going. (2 of the 3 I've chosen are personal favorites, feel free to spice it up, if you want)
- Then (or preferably at the same time) you should go for Build Support to get Knowhere into play, this is the only way to get that card into the game, so make sure Knowhere is NOT in your hand. Only other way, is if one of your friends are a guardian and can hit you up with an Honorary Guardian. So don't waste this one chance.
- The rest of the +1 to your ally limit cards and allies at your leisure, since you'll only have 3 non-dual traited allies.
- Start reaping the benefits of the deck. Drawing up to 20 cards every round with Strength In Numbers Avengers Assemble! and the other means of readying your allies only to exhaust them again for draws... oh yeah... + your starting hand of course.
- This is more of a footnote (and just to state the obvious) Falcon has some supports and upgrades that are fun to get down every round, and this deck helps with that. Wanna get even more out of your Falcon's Flock? Just use it up and play it again every round! Friends (or yourself) constantly on the brink of death? Play Aerial Evacuation every round! Or do you just want to stun something every round??? (See where I'm going with this?) That's right Talon Line is there for you to get them stuns going (or extra readies).
Getting all set up, will take a few turns, but once it's done, you'll be able to switch it up every round and that sure is fun.
This also means, that you can recycle Captain Marvel and Spectrum and even Redwing every round, if you should need to chump block some attacks, however I find it hard to believe that you would ever have to block 3 attacks in the same round, since you'll be playing Air Supremacy at least 2 times every round for 6+ damage to all minions in play (choosing up to 9 targets every time)
This is a little harder to get going in true solo though, as there's only a select few Aerial Avenger allies in the game and even fewer in Leadership. But should you be feeling nostalgic and wanting to give that old allies spam another go, then I think you should give this deck a go.
Ps. I've chosen to leave the double energy cards out, even though, it would give you less of a "card waste" when paying for Avengers Assemble!, but I wanted to keep the deck size to a minimum, and adding ressource cards just seemed like fillers.
Pps. This is my first published deck and write-up, so please be honest with your feedback/ criticism, as I welcome it, and want to know if I missed something/ made some mistakes.
