Momentum Shift seems really hard to use in Groot and only sort-of worthwhile when you can use it. Like, if you're at the point where you've lost all of your Growth Counters and have taken real damage, spending 3 cards to heal 2 and deal 2 doesn't seem like it's going to turn things around. At that point, you're probably better off switching to Alter Ego and getting the equivalent of Heal 8 (4 Rec and 2 uses of Growth Spurt). I would definitely cut that.
On the upgrades - I feel like there are so many good Protection upgrades, and having all of them out so they work together is so great, that I don't like to double up unless they're critical. As great as Electrostatic Armor is, I would probably go down to 1 copy, and probably the same for Nerves of Steel. Energy Barrier should maybe be removed entirely because Groot's hero ability is a Forced Interrupt, meaning you have to use it before you can use Energy Barrier.

Hard to Ignore and Unflappable are really good, and I'm not sure how great Dauntless is, but it does seem like it's made for Groot.
