In the beginning, i just wanna build a special deck which is not mainly about "Event" or "Allies". Doctor Strange has a own Invocation Deck and the invocation have powerful effect with low cost, therefore, the main target of design logic is "Keep Ready Doctor Strange and Resolve the ability of invocation cards"
This deck is the most Powerful and Extremely Satisfied which i built ever and unexpected, its included the functions and resolve frequently of below:
- Damage not made by "Attack"
- Thwart ignores the crisis icon
- Give teammate 3 tough cards frequently
- Draw card frequently
- Stun and Confuse villain frequently
- Counter Treachery effects
- Healing
(1)-(6) both are the effect of Hero card and Invocation cards, that's mean the other 25 cards are ONLY used for assist and boost up Hero card and Invocation cards.
The core cards of this deck are Cloak of Levitation ,Master of the Mystic Arts, Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Ever Vigilant. Cloak of Levitation is the most important card of this deck, i often ready hero and resolve invocation card 3-5 times per 1 turn. That's mean there is high probability to draw 3+cards every 1-2 turn game, it's totally make this deck be crazy!
Another selling point of this deck is Action when other players turn. In hero form, you can ask other player to let you resolve the action ability, ALL of the functions (1)-(7) in above section shown, both are "Hero Action" or "Action", you can draw cards with Spiritual Meditation and Winds of Watoomb, take a damage to any enemy or thwart before the teammate want, or clear the tough card from villain.
Conclusion: Dr Strange is the most Powerful and Extremely Satisfied which i built, its really surprised me with how fun and powerful he actually was. Please leave comment how you are getting on with him.
