"I don't even know you you are..."
This deck is 1-0 against Thanos on Heroic difficulty (standalone mode solo, not part of the campaign).
The idea to play this matchup was based off two things. 1 - the flavor, letting Wanda have her revenge on Thanos like in Avengers Endgame. 2 - the joy of tutoring out The Titan's Throne with One Way or Another.
Of course, one of the hottest decks on this site (by user L3w15 7) is a Scarlet Witch Justice deck, but mine has a few big differences that I think you will enjoy.
First and foremost, since the publishing of that list we have One Way or Another added to the card pool. The draw 3 is plenty to make up for the extra thwarting we need to do (only 2 THW since we will get The Titan's Throne or The Black Order). Skilled Investigator and Turn the Tide also reward us for defeating a cheap side scheme on our turn.
Secondly, I play 3 Earth's Mightiest Heroes, which pairs superbly with Quicksilver and Speed.
Lastly, you'll note that Thanos is a stalwart villain, so I do not play cards like Mockingbird or Sonic Rifle. Against a different scenario, I would cut Ironheart for Mockingbird.
Some tips for fighting Thanos:
The key to your strategy will be searching out The Titan's Throne with One Way or Another. You may want to immediately remove it to discard an Infinity Stone from play, or even keep it around to supercharge your Wiccan activations and Molecular Decays. In my game I finished off Thanos with a 13-power Decay!
Since Thanos is stalwart, 3-icon results on Hex Bolt will be used to give tough cards to Scarlet Witch or allies. Therefore, you will want to use your allies before playing Hex Bolt so the tough can block a villain attack instead of falling off to consequential damage.
One of the scariest encounter cards is Avatar of Death. Block with an ally or use a tough card on any villain attack you can because you never know when you need to take an Avatar of Death to the face. Magic Shield can give you some cushion if you get lower on health.
I haven't vetted this list outside of my one victorious match with Thanos, so it's possible I got super lucky right away. With so much card draw, I think the deck is consistent though. Give it a shot!
unfortunately, the infinity stone deck is not considered part of the encounter deck, so you can't choose to discard the top of it with wiccan or molecular decay(would be broken); interestingly enough it will work for cosmo in the same way he can discard from the invocation deck of strange, neat tech against thanos and loki.
