This deck revolves around triggering Spider-Sense to get extra cards while already being Tough. The second big draw of this deck is to use Jocasta to pull Backflip from your discard pile.
-
I've made a bunch of decks for people on Reddit, and this is one of my favorites. It gets around Spider-Man's issue of not thwarting well with Bait and Switch, and good thwarting allies.
-
You want to first set up Hard Knocks and Muster Courage to give Spidey a tough status card. Remember to let your allies attack or thwart before giving them tough from Muster Courage.
-
Use Enhanced Spider-Sense and Get Behind Me! to cancel as many treacheries as you can.
-
Since there's not a ton of damage in the deck, use Swinging Web Kick as much as you can on the villain. Also, avoid Webbed Up unless you need it to survive.
Enjoy letting Spidey taunt the villain over and over while you hit him over and over. This deck works in solo and multiplayer. Have fun!

Like it!! Unsure if there is a ruling about this, but... Unflappable? i was actually wondering if it could be triggered with Backflip? (After all, since RRG 1.4, playing a defense event IS defending.) |

Feb 09, 2022Unflappable would only trigger if the player defended. If you didn't defend and just back flipped for no damage unflappable would not trigger. |

"So there’s a lot to unpack, but the big takeaway is that defense events now count as a defense. So if you use Wiggle Room, you can trigger abilities like Unflappable, which require a defense. RRG 1.2 controversially claimed that using cards like Wiggle Room was not a defense." Backflip is a Defense card, and would trigger Unflappable. |
Is Jacosta actally good in your deck with only the two Backflips available as targets?
