Mulligan deep for Gambit's Guild Armor - this is the key to being ready in the hero phase. Armored Vest is also a priority. Gambit struggles with economy, so X-Gene, The X-Jet, Deft Focus and Unflappable help to speed things along. Use allies for blocking in the early game, until you have built up the defensive engine.
