Using Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy as a draw engine fueled by Comms Implant, Honorary Guardian, Inspired, Laser Blaster, and Reinforced Suit.
The use of Joining Forces is testing the waters for efficiency of using the cost reduction "What could go wrong?" to make a 9-cost play only cost 1 resource. A few cheaper allies like Major Victory, Drax (sometimes), and Martinex are for defense as needed but the other allies are for maximized consistent damage output.
