Based initially on VillainTheory's The Bub Club.
This deck is for Solo Champions League Season 17, Round 2
- Villain: Risky Business + Deathstrike
- Difficulty: Standard
- Hero: Wolverine
- Aspect: Aggression, Justice, Leadership, 'Pool, Protection, or All Basic
In the end it was a fairly straight forward tribal leadership deck
- My usual plan was to flip Stage 1 Norman to Gobby with an ally so I didn't need to take in the indirect damage and then flip down again on turn 2 before advancing him to Stage 2. This would usually result in Gobby flipping back to Norman and then I could flip him back again, avoiding the indirect damage again. Unfortunately this failed to work correctly in games 2 and 3.
- Mirage is awesome against Gobby since he has 0 Scheme.
- Although the Utopia value can be fairly high, and Uncanny X-Men is awesome, I may have preferred to just go with a non-tribal deck and put more of the high-value allies (Maria Hill, Fury, etc) in the deck.
Games:
- Game 1: 4 turns, 1 threat lefy on the main scheme, 13 health hero side. Everything went exactly as drawn up.
- Game 2: 8 turns, 9 health hero side. I got an early Shadows of the past and then Gobby to flip back to Norman when I flipped down, and then flipped to Norman on a later turn. Sad.
- Game 3: 7 turns, 13 health hero side. Shadows showed up in the mid-game and I ended up flipping down and staying down for an extra turn to avoid the big Omega Red attacks while I mustered the ally strength to clear the nemesis set side scheme.
