"All right, let's do this one last time. My name is Kurt Wagner. I was born with an X-Gene and I'm the one and only Uncanny Spider-Man."
One of the best things I've found with Nightcrawler is you can use allies to the last health most of the time. Occasionally chump-blocking is necessary, but most of the time we're using Get Ready to get early use out of our allies and Make the Call to bring them back.
Early priority is Web of Life and Destiny which we can get out by paying 3 or getting Build Support done, or we can cheat anyone in using Call for Backup. Once we have it, that's our Web-Warrior card we can use to bring in all of our other friends. We have a few allies that don't require controlling a Web-Warrior card, like Spider-Man and Spider-Man, that can be used to fulfill the Web-Warrior card requirement for other allies. And, of course, we have Across the Spider-Verse to get one out easier if we control Web of Life and Destiny.
Some neat interactions, Spider-Man can ready our tail to get double use out of it after playing something like Tally Ho! and because Kurt is good at defending and we have lots of allies, Clarity of Purpose will see a lot of use.
Once we have our spider friends out, we can focus on events and benefit from the card draw after our allies bounce out.
Don't worry about how he fits his tail in the suit and remember, with great Bamfing comes great sulfur stench.

Sep 29, 2024This deck is fun! All you have to do is bamf every turn and now your web warriors are free to do stuff without having to chump block! Get ready let's the get in and out of play fast too! I had a turn where I got to replay sp//dr 4 times that was fun |

Oct 03, 2024@Chris2002 - I believe there is 6/7 Web-Warrior of 9 total allies. This plenty to trigger web - warrior cards. Miles can be played and get a ton of play even if only used 1 time during the game. He’s 3 cost with +2 to the chosen power until the end of the phase. Get ready is a 0 card that could allow Miles +8 atk or + 6 thw, or a combo of the his two basics. Ton of value for the deck. |

Oct 03, 2024This deck is really great. Had a blast playing it this morning. Of course I got Web of Life out turn one and then got Caught of Guard... But the deck still did great. Since I was playing Sandman, I kept Otto out the whole game to dig sand and keep a Web-Warrior out. With Nightcrawler not having Web-Warrior, I ended up using Peter to ready Sp//DR most of the time. |
