I love Adam Warlock, but all my previous attempts on deckbuilding with it ended in sub-optimal decks which were too greedy or too slow killing the villain.

This is the one I feel more balanced and I've had most fun with.

I like the "toolbox" concept of deck. A deck with tools to deal with almost any kind of threat the encounter deck could toss to you. I like them even more if those tools take form of "allies", and that's exactly what this deck is about.

Dazzler, Psylocke and Iron Fist give you great control over villain activations. Iron Fist and Psylocke are specially great if you can recur them with Rapid Response. Against Stalwart Villains, Rapid Response is probably better to use it on Agent Coulson to have a permanent chumpblock + 2 thwart each round.

Sunfire is just amazing against some villains, and Beast is just... well, his name says everything, a Beast. With his response you can get really great first rounds (specially if you put into play thanks to a "call for backup" which only costs you 1 resource).

Counterintelligence is there to provide an alternative target for Agent Coulson if you already have Rapid Response in play, and the other cards are just there fo fill some gaps here and there. "The power of" resources really help with the expensive allies, and if the aspects don't match, you can simply use them with Battle Mage.

I am not a big fan of playing more than 1 Player Side Scheme with heroes other than Cable, but Adam is really depending on his Mystic Senses, so Superpower Training is great here.

I just playtested it against Mutagen Formula Expert, and it has worked quite well. I'll have to play it against other villains, but it looks quite solid and fun to play.
