Cyclops is my favorite X-Men, so I'm always coming up with excuses to come back to him. Children of the Atom was the perfect reason, as it synergizes so well with Mutant Mayhem (MM) and allows this Field Commander to do quite the shenanigans with his teammates.
First off: "To Me, My X-Men!" (TMMX) is a fantastic card to combine with Scott Summers' ability to have X-Men allies from any aspect. Minimizing risk with 25% of your deck being allies AND ensuring every ally has an "enters play" ability is also quite powerful. Note that all of these allies have "enters play" but not "from your hand," so their response works with TMMX, MM, or from your hand!
Once Children of the Atom comes into play is when this deck gets fun. That should be top priortity to get to the table. Once it's out there, all of your allies in play become X-Men and X-Force traited. That means all allies can be used for MM, which means always getting two "enters play" abilities at the same time: make Forge and Beast your targets to snag Utopia and pay for it instantly; look at the top encounter cards with Blindfold, get rid of the worst, and grab the one with the most icons for Gambit; heal with Triage and also get a Tough card with Polaris; confuse a steady villain with Dazzler and Professor X; kill a guard minion with M while getting a Tactic upgrade from Phoenix to use your Full Blast solely on the villian; The possibilities are endless!
Another cool trick mid-game if you have TMMX and MM in your hand (and have at least one ally on the table): play TMMX and get an ally, then play MM with that ally. You have now technically played that ally "from your hand" so you can keep them in play at the end of the player phase!
Admittedly, the supports are a bit of overkill. However, a little variety when playing Forge three to four times in not a bad thing. Also, there have been moments when I could play an ally from my hand practically for free (with [The X-Jet], Team-Building Exercise, and Uncanny X-Men), play TMMX from my hand to get another ally, then replay them both with MM in the same turn!
This has been a really fun deck to play, so I thought I would share. All feedback is welcome, and thank you for taking the time to look!

I am definitely no rules expert, so I will defer to the more knowledgeable folks. Appreciate the feedback from both of you! |

Cool idea! I was wondering about the lack of some of the stronger blue X-force allies, but they would weaken TMMX and I guess that card is strong enough to be worth that sacrifice. Speaking of which, are you positive that's how TMMX interacts with MM? I mean, the way I read it is: 1 - TMMX let's you search and put into play an ally. It warns you: at end of phase, said ally will be going back to hand. 2 - MM makes the ally go to hand and reenter play. 3 - End of phase (after drawing cards, by the way): if that ally is in play, it's going back to hand.
Even if you had sacrificed that ally and put it back into play via Med Lab, Make the Call, Call For Backup or Mutant Mayhem, if it's in play by the end of the phase, TMMX will be triggering and adding that ally to hand.
