Early Game: Building the Foundation

The name of the early game is to make a plan, build speed, get ready to launch

Key Cards to Mulligan For:

Friction Resistance: This is a priority as it serves as both a resource generator and a key component in maintaining Quicksilver's action economy. It's ability to produce more than one resource a turn is a corner stone in the deck.

Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Deft Focus, Quincarrier: These support(s) and upgrade(s) provide a steady flow of cards or resources, ensuring you have options every turn.

In this phase, focus on thwarting and mitigating early threats while getting your upgrades in play. Use allies like Nick Fury for card draw or threat removal, and don’t hesitate to use events like Double Time for flexibility.

Mid Game: Hitting Your Stride

With your resource production setup established, the mid game is where Quicksilver’s readying mechanic becomes the centerpiece of your strategy. Now the deck moves onto setting up the late game.

Hyper Perception, Reinforced Sinew or Accelerated Reflex: Boost your stats early to improve Quicksilver’s effectiveness in combat or thwarting. These are better if played earlier on, but now is when these cards need to be active.

Speed Cyclone: Stun the villain to buy yourself time for setup or a strong offensive turn. Distraction: Helps manage the villain's schemes while you focus on ramping up.

Allies like Machine Man and Blade are great tools for handling minions or soaking damage, while you maintain control of the board.

Late Game: Unstoppable Momentum

The late game is where Quicksilver’s upgrades and resource engine shine, allowing him to dominate the board with repeated actions.

Use Always Be Running to keep Quicksilver ready for multiple actions per turn. Combine this with Friction Resistance for resource generation that keeps the engine running smoothly.

Key Cards:

Maximum Velocity: A game-changing event that massively boosts Quicksilver's stats for a turn. Use this to clear schemes, handle minions, or deal significant damage to the villain.

Core Strategy: Use Always Be Running and Friction Resistance in tandem to maximize Quicksilver's actions. With upgrades like Reinforced Sinew, Laser Swords, and Hyper Perception, you’ll have powerful attacks, effective thwarting, and solid defense. Recurring key cards with Serval Industries ensures you can keep playing pivotal events like Maximum Velocity and Double Time.

Key Cards:

Symbiote Suit and Live Dangerously: If you haven’t already played it, now is the time to capitalize on the increased stats and card draw, provided you can manage the extra encounter card.

Superpower Training: Use this to recycle crucial upgrades or superpower events for a decisive finishing turn.

With stat boosts from Accelerated Reflex, Reinforced Sinew, and Hyper Perception, Quicksilver can handle any challenge the villain throws his way. His ability to ready repeatedly ensures a steady flow of damage, thwarting, or defense as needed.

This looks fun to play. I am not sure my friends want to see mu put that many symbols on the board, but the damage potential with so many readies with the Laser Swords is just cartoonishly powerful

Give it a shot. Give them a warning of what you are doing. Adding the additional symbols are late game, so it doesn't hurt that bad. And you get a really good pop off turn. Laser Swords is very good in this deck. If your people are not cool enough to run with 'pool, try it out for yourself solo.
