Imagine Taskmaster having a conversion of heart, joining up with S.H.I.E.L.D., and doing serious work against his old villain buddies. What if he could thwart for 10+ every turn while the villains only ever scheme for 4-7 (and often less).
The dream of Taskmaster's redemption has Black Widow wanting to Face her Past in order to bring him around to the side of justice. If successful, he will become the best Informant S.H.I.E.L.D. has ever had.
Informant seems limited in what it can do because it only removes threat equal to the minion's scheme (usually no more than 2). Since it is also preventing it, I guess you could argue that this is effectively 4 threat removal, but it seems an unreliable game plan to want to keep minions around long term and be in alter-ego (allowing them to scheme) to make Informant good.
But with Taskmaster, since his scheme is as high as the number of upgrades you control, you can really leverage this to be removing mass amounts of thwart.
With Safe House #29 and Practiced Plan you can be sure to have Informant every villain phase.
Since Informant can be used in alter-ego and since it doesn't limit you to non-elite minions, Black Widow can just stay in AE most of the game, drawing you 6 cards a turn + 1 when you replay Informant.
Since over half the cards in this deck are upgrades, imagine Taskmaster scheming to remove 12-15+ threat every turn while your multiplayer buddies go ham against the villain. If playing in solo, 3x Followed attached to Lay the Trap can finish a villain phase without ever flipping to Hero form. Although, flipping to hero form and unleashing the "widowmaker" ping storm also sounds promising.
Just make sure that you always have an informant before Taskmaster schemes (don't shuffle it away into the player deck accidentally before picking it back up), or the betrayal will be ugly.
Fun looking deck - definitely want to give it a try!
Just a note, there can only be a max of 1 copy of Followed per side scheme so you can't just kill off the villain with all that damage but as long as there are some other side schemes along the way you can keep chipping at them!
