So this deck has been pretty insane for me. The amount of card draw and flexibility is wild and fun.
A few points:
1. Energy Shield is just wild for Rocket. Play for free, draw 2 whenever you need to with Tinkering. Additionally, it's one more help for his squishiness, and the card is AWESOME with Groot (to make sure he survives and heals) and can be cool with Gamora (if you want her to keep pulling you events). Don't forget that The Power of Protection doubles its resources while paying for Energy Shield's ability, too! (Though Starhawk, Energy Barrier, and What Doesn't Kill Me give you just about every-turn targets for Power of Protection, too.)
2. While Rocket's out on the job with his crew of Guardians, he still phones Earth for therapy with Dr. Sinclair and technical assistance with Leo Fitz, both of whom are well worth the investment. Leo feels craaazy good in this deck.
3. I find myself using Salvage to pull Battery Packs, quite often, or Energy Barrier if I want to get those online and have the resources to play them, or whatever. But the Battery Packs are sweet because they keep Particle Cannon online and rocking and rolling, which almost single-handedly will keep minions off your back and draw you your Murdered You cards.
4. In this deck, the single copy of Ready for a Fight is not a game plan, exactly, it's more of a "break glass" protection against things like Advance, so that you can feel safe flipping all game. I find I rarely actually pop it... but the fact I could if I had to is meaningful.
5. Repurpose and What Doesn't Kill Me will typically allow Rocket to thwart massive amounts throughout the game, but you can also turn on Rocket's ATK in the late game to close it out.
I've had so much fun with this deck and hope you do, too.

May 27, 2025Rocket Repurpose is one of my favorite decks in the game. This one looks good, Spider-Byte also works really well for him |

May 27, 2025*Groot and Starhawk take of the ally slots already. |
May 27, 2025I like that you got the green targets up high enough to be able to lean into Power of Protection. |

— PoP can be used to pay for Energy Shield. — Salvage can put Energy Barriers back on top and Tinkering / Knowhere can draw them when you have PoP to spend. — Leo can grab Energy Barrier when you have PoP to spend. — And of course Starhawk, if you keep him out, is always a target. For having 7 double resources, I almost always have a target for them, and unlike many decks it almost feels like you have more targets as the deck progresses not fewer. |
May 28, 2025I’ve had a ton of fun playing this deck, I love how versatile it is! |
May 28, 2025I need a button with a stronger heart which reads "I love it very much". This fells perfectly rounded, a is blast to play. The best deck I've played of one of my favourite heroes. |
May 29, 2025Would Ever Vigilant work better than What Doesn't Kill Me, since you have aerial with Thruster Boots, and you don't need the first resource requirement that What Doesn't Kill Me requires, and if you flip down you can use Dr. Sinclair and your heal since you are ready. |
