Big Guy, Simple Plan

I've had a little run of putting some Basic only decks together and after struggling to get the most out of ol' Piotr, I found a lot of grey cards were going in. So here we are with another all-grey affair.

Let's get the obvious out of the way; 4 hand-size in Hero form. Hate that. So, of course 3 x Assess the Situation goes in (which I forget can stack too). And to make the most out of a 6 hand size in AE, Moira MacTaggert brings that up to 7.

A lot of the criticism on Colossus I've seen is lack of threat removal. Can't do too much about that in a Basic deck without high cost, but we can look to ready him as much as possible. Ready to Rumble and Limitless Stamina are solid helps and if you have Synch and Iron Will out, playing another ally, Utopia means you're getting another ready and a 3 THW for a turn at least.

Multitalented gives you a bit versatility and Mutant Education helps to recycle your own cards.

Onto Allies - Triage for some healing, Professor X for some thwarting / confuse, allowing you to drop down unhindered and I've thrown in Pete Wisdom (which you'll need to use Children of the Atom first) as if he heals each round, looks very good value for threat removal.

And there you have it. Can only hope this will work out nicely. All good in theory, until you play it!
